The Apple iPad is the type of device that starts an electronic revolution: a portable device, in between a cellphone and laptop, that you can use anywhere. You didn’t notice it when it was introduced but when you look back in 20 years you will say, “wow the iPad changed how we live.”
Even though it is less than one year old, the iPad has already been a huge success. You can see its potential already. For example, how long before menus at restaurants are just iPads? You wouldn’t even need a waiter. Just order on the iPad and it is sent right to the chef. Hundreds of ideas and apps are being created every day to improve this revolutionary product.
However there has been a lot of speculation whether the iPad will be a success. Many people are pawning or selling their iPad for a high dollar loan. They have no use for it yet and need the money. This is understandable as, while I can see the potential of the iPad, right now it is not so useful. It is probably ahead of its time.
Will the iPad start a revolution for electronics? Probably. Is it something you need to buy right now? Probably not. I think it still has a few years before it becomes what I think it should become. In the mean time, pawn or sell your iPad for a high dollar loan.
