As promised in the previous blog titled “Sell iPhones To Upgrade To iPhone 5“, I wanted to provide some insight to what is expected as a huge improvement over the iPhone 4S. Keep in mind that this is only an opinion based upon new features and improved technology inside the new phone. Regardless, there is nothing that can diminish the advances noticeable to those of you who currently own an iPhone 4 or 4S. Truth be told, there is likely to be a tremendous surge in iPhone owners now to sell iPhone 4 and 4S, or earlier versions, to pawn shops around the country; just as has been done before. Without further adieu, let’s dig in for some juicy details about iPhone 5.
One of the first changes that will likely excite buyers is the size of the screen. It will move up from the 3.5 inch size to a full 4 inches, yielding easier to read windows, icons and other visual effects. For the older generation of users, like myself, it is a welcome bit of news. The older the eyes, the larger screen that is needed; at least that is my philosophy. I am sure some of you in my demographic will agree. At any rate, this phone is due to have a much faster processor chip, the A5. “Two cores in the A5 chip deliver up to two times more power and up to seven times faster graphics.” as described in Apple’s web-page, will help to provide faster apps responsiveness and improve the user’s experience overall.
This processor will have speeds from 1.5 to 2.0 ghz and host 1 GB of ram to help deliver some absolutely blistering responses to launching apps, partially due to the 4G speeds available. What’s more, you will have access to a new 3D capturing app for your new iPhone 5; drooling yet? Oh yeah, you can capture, render, and process pictures in 3D, and with the upgraded camera features, this will include taking pictures in Panorama. If this has not got you on board for the new amazing phone, check this out.
Handling the phone will feel different, but better, with its new sleek design. You will have an extended life battery of up to 10 hours and standby time that is an incredible 1000 hours. The screen will be full 1080p HD along with a 3D video display to help you enjoy those 3D pictures in Panorama. And finally, this will be a SIM-less phone that includes 2 to 3 internal antennas. As Apple puts it, “…the iPhone 5 will be a World Phone.”
With other features to be announced as the release date nears, one can only speculate as to the astounding and uncanny abilities this piece of technology wonder will possess. While you are getting wound up about this fine piece of work, there is bound to be even better and more impressive products from Apple on the horizon. What that may be is anyone’s guess, or educated speculation if you have the insider’s scoop.

In the world of technology, there is the saying that parallels comments about the weather, just wait a day and it will change. While new technology does not move quite that swiftly, it does move fast. One year you will hear that computers can handle one gigabyte of information, then suddenly it is up to four gigabytes, then 80 gigabytes, and so on.
Now, there are machines that easily handle up to two terabytes, the equivalent of 2,000 gigabytes. For a better frame of reference, take a look at the chart below and look at just how much memory potential the computer industry has in store, pardon the pun.

I know, I know, this is probably way more than you wanted to see, but if you happen to be a real technology junkie, this has got to be impressive; that is, of course, if you did not know about it already. Having showed this, the real story here is about the new smart phone capabilities coming from the iPhone 5. It has not been that long since iPhone 4S was the topic of the day; as previously mentioned, technology moves very fast.
The Apple iPhone 5 is expected to be released sometime later in 2012. Speculations revolve around an early Fall debut, but it is only speculation at this time. Even so, no doubt it will find just as much fanfare as its predecessors, the iPhone 4S, 4, etc. Which leads to what is to be expected, a sell-off of used iPhones. Pawn shops around the country are likely to be bombarded with customers trying to offload their nicely used phones of the 4S, 4, and other previous iPhones. When other releases occurred, the reaction was the same as what is expected when the iPhone 5 comes to a store near you; a fever pitched scramble to upgrade.
A question that is bound to be brought up is what Apps will grace this new phone that is functional and practical? Well, both of these terms are relative to what one may mean by functional and practical. Defining these words to suit this new technology is neither practical or functional for the readership. What really matters is related directly to the needs of each user, individually, not collectively.
